This hoof was injured 11 years ago and the heel was repositioned to the back of the hoof.  The capsule was several inches too long and there was a split in

the capsule the could easily have snagged something.  The 2nd hoof is after the 1st trim.  but, mapping and using indicators in the hoof we were able to know

where to put the heel for this 1st trim.  She was not sore in her pastern from shortening the hoof.

The 1st trim is in the first two of this series and the 3rd picture was the 2nd trim and old stains of coppertox we believe leached out after the

white lightning treatment.  Coffee's hoof had corns in booth heels now.

The sole view above was the 3rd trim and you can already see how the foot is relaxing and shaping.  She has never been lame for the changes made

This untrimmed hoof you can see the wall splitting on the left side, the heels were cracking to the height they needed to be.  There was over 2 inches to lower to a heel

near the natural height by about 1/2 inch. You can see the mark on the left and then where that mark is on the 2nd picture.  The 3rd picture was at the 2nd trim and the

heels had changed position and were long.  A little more was removed after this hoof soaking.

This is a view of the upper 2ndrd hoof how the back heel is weightbearing after the 1st trim.    The next two views are 1st trim

on the medial side of the hoof
